I decided that I would hold fire this week, but a friend sent me this, so…

A setting of the Lamentations (in Hebrew) in early Baroque style, composed by the man at the harpsichord. Beautiful instruments, too – lovely carved head on the viol. What I find intriguing is how they deal with music notated from left to right with Hebrew text written from right to left.
