Those who have joined on zoom recently will know I’ve been hinting at a project I’ve been working on over the last couple of months. A new online festival is being launched in response to the current lockdown and restrictions on concert giving. I recorded a concert of music for Holy Saturday with the Erebus Ensemble as part of this, and tickets are now available online. These are £5 and you can purchase using this link.

The concert will be streamed at 3pm on Saturday 3rd April and available to view for one month after that.
I hope you will enjoy the programme which features James MacMillan’s setting of the Miserere which we discussed together earlier in the term. There is also music by Victoria, Brumel and the little known Jean Richafort. If you do not know the latter’s setting of the Requiem already you are in for a treat!
