Rosemary Burgon, an accomplished pianist and organist, has been a popular Accompanist for the Society since 1988. In 1989, Willoughby Pountney, who was Musical Director at the time, obtained an incomplete score of Ferdinand Schubertís Hirtenmesse, from the bass part of which Rosemary produced the organ accompaniment. This enabled the Society to give in 1989 the first known British performance of this work.
Until 2005, Rosemary was organist and choirmaster of All Saints, Wraxall. Since then she has been freelancing as organist at various local churches, and is also accompanist to Clevedon Ladiesí Choir and Nailsea & Backwell Ladies' Choir.
